Norda: the ultra-technical trail shoes we’re obsessed with

At Moksín, we keep expanding our selection of brands, and we’re proud to introduce one that is redefining the world of trail running: Norda Run.

Straight from Canada—and although relatively new to the market—Norda has already become one of our favorites. Not only for its design and technology, but also for its philosophy, focused on sustainability and performance (completely in line with our own style).

Born in Canada, built for every terrain

Norda shoes were born in Quebec, a region exposed to extreme temperatures that can drop as low as –35ºC. It was precisely this harsh climate that inspired Nicholas and Willamina Martire to create highly technical trail running shoes that had it all: durability, comfort, and a versatile design for both the mountains and the city.

And you might be wondering: what’s the secret behind all this? Norda’s answer lies in the material they use: Dyneema®, a bio-based fiber that is 15 times stronger than steel. This fabric is one of the key components of every Norda shoe, allowing them to be lightweight yet incredibly resistant.

Sustainability and performance as non-negotiables

One of the things we admire most about Norda is how clear their vision is: they know exactly what kind of shoe they want to make—technical, high-performing, and sustainable. That’s why, along with Vibram® outsoles (the gold standard in the trail running world), they use responsible production processes, with 75% of the energy employed in their manufacturing coming from renewable sources.

Norda 001

The brand’s very first release. Designed for long distances and technical terrain, it offers outstanding cushioning thanks to its Vibram® midsole. Ideal for runners seeking maximum comfort and performance.

Norda 001 G+ Spike

A special version of the iconic 001, specifically built for snow and ice. Its outsole is reinforced with carbide spikes, delivering exceptional grip on extreme surfaces.

Norda 002

Much lighter than the 001, this model is designed for shorter distances, which explains its lower sole profile. Its wider platform ensures greater stability and control over the terrain. If you’re looking for speed and agility, the Norda 002 will win you over.
